When someone is rebooting the VM guest from the vcenter is there a way to send a message with the name of a technician that did it?

I could not find this option in vCenter. Log forwarder will send a message with "behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: Legacy API shutdown"

Any other way I can provide user name that has initiated a restart?

I'd very much like to know the answer to this as well - I have a great need for this same thing.

(Is there maybe an equivalent SNMP TRAP from VMware for this? That might help too!)
