90% packet loss on switch according to orion but

Orion reported one of our switches to be down, when i checked orion was reporting 90% packet loss.

The only problem is I could ping the switch fine and browse to its web interface. I was also able to ping other devices attached to the switch including the orion server.

Anyone know why orion would report this ?

Running 9.5 SP4

As for our system , its quite small I guess.

2 Master Switches (linksys SRW2024P)

They are connected to 2 Base switches (Linksys SLM248G4s)

Each connected to each other via a 1gb etherent link.

The orion server is connected to one of the master switches, the one that had the issue.

We also have out servers connected to the master switches and stndard computers connected to the base switches.

When the high pin happened there did not appear to be any high traffic rates on any of the ports.

Im finishing work now so will be back on in the morning.

issue has not happened again as yet.
