Windows 2008 R2 machines showing as Windows NT??

I've been adding several new Windows 2008 R2 machines to Solarwinds when I noticed that under Machine Type it's listed as Windows NT. This is odd because when I check Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 machines they show the correct OS version. We are running Orion NPM v9.5.1.

Actually I wonder if maybe Solarwinds isn't recognizing the response it gets back from an SNMP Query. I notice that in VMware, the Win 2k8 R2 boxes are being reported as "Windows NT" on the ESX 3.5 Hosts and technically this isn't wrong because Win 2k8 R2 is in the NT family of OS.

Anyone know the OID that Solarwinds uses to determine the what OS the server is running?

It is purely cosmetic and probably resolved in the newer version. I think I should know that my dual quad core server with 32 gb of Ram and 1TB San LUNs is not running NT4.

I dont have this problem. All my 2008 R2 box's display correctly...

Im running NPM 10.0 SP1... I think this was fixed in 10.0 and was only a problem in 9.5.1 and earlier..
