I am having an issue that is getting more and more frequent. When I compress the database or try to do database maintenace I get an error that the transaction log is full. I wour with our DB guys and they tell me that it appears that a process is getting hung and once it's clear that Orion is trying to push all the backed up data at once. They have to open up several more gig to the transaction log then the processes catch up and then run fine for awhile.
Is there anywhere that batch sizing can be set within Orion? So that when this occurs it will recover smoothly rather than trying to take up so much room?
My database is 11gig the transaction log is running around 5 gig. something doesn't add up.
