Chart view is missing - looks like a bad network object reference?

Question

When I reference a CPU Load and Memory statistic chart for the same node from an application monitor view, the chart does not show up. When I go to the same node using the server node view, the same resource shows up without issues.  I see that the HTTP references has different network object IDs?  Since I am looking at the same node... should'nt they be the same?

Here is what I'm seeing:

The resource graph I have is definately a NPM resource... its shows general node statistics.  When you go to the standard node view it works fine but for some reason in the APM details view its broken.

I ended up just removing it from the APM view so that my users stop complaining.. it just seemed odd that it would work from one view and not the other. I suspect over time/upgrades maybe I got a view reference munged.

I didn't meant to sound to you that way.

based from my understanding APM has different "ID" (applicationID) on the database for every node it poll, exactly different from the "ID" that NPM polled (NodeID).

APM (AA:XXXX) = polled memory utilization of that particular application within that node

whereas

NPM (N:XXXX)= polled memory utilization regardless of what application used it.

By the way, are you trying to send the chart via email?

I don't know why the AA is put there. It never occured to me that the AA is reference to APM... make sense though. Your question makes me think that  I may not be understanding a concept here (figures).

When I create a view I generally don't restrict the resources to say applications data with application views etc..  is this a general principal that needs to be followed?

Should an application view only have application charts?
