V8 and SNMPv2c

In V8 all SNMP Version is changed to SNMPv2c. I have over 400 switches that only supports SNMPv1.
Is there a way to change this for all nodes from one Vendor? I tried doing this in the nodes table in SQL, but this does not affect the object in System Manager for some reason, it changes back to v2. SNMPVersion column in SQL was changed from 2 to 1.

If you are changing the db manually for this you will need to stop the Network Performance Monitor service before making the changes and restart it after.
