Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Unknown state on NICs
Kaj_Lehtinen
Hi!
After changing the IP adress of the polling engine & the Orion website I get a lot of unknown state on monitored servers, the server itself is responding fine and usually the volumes are reporting data also, but the NICs on 75% of the nodes are in a unknown state.
I've run LIST RESOURCES in the console and it lists the NIC as it should. This and the fact that the server responds and the volume monitoring works seems to indicate that SNMP works fine, but for some reason the NICs doesnt want to answer. I've rebooted some of the nodes that has NICs in a unknown state, but no luck.
Any ideas anyone?
Best regards,
Kaj Lehtinen
