Error After Upgrade

I ran the install file for Orion Ver 8. Everything went as planned uninstalled Ver 7, installed Ver 8, entered my License key.

When I run Configuration Wizard to start the next step in the installation process I get the following error:

NetPerfMon-Wizard2.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x1c129a40" referenced memory at "0x1c129a40". The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of "0xc000000e".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Click on CANCEL to debug the program

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

This is for 8.5? anymore details about your setup, other modules, etc..

This is for Ver 8. I have not installed any other modules yet.

I get the error on all programs that were installed.

Database Manager

Configuration Wizard

Syslog Viewer

System Manager

In order to understand the problem completely I would suggest running the SW diagnostics tool and attaching the results to a Support ticket. The Diagnostics Utility can be found in C:\Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion\SolarwindsDiagnostics.exe [assuming the default install path]. I have not seen that error often and speculate that something is corrupted.

I finally got it fixed. I re-installed Orion over the previous installation attempt. That fixed it. After that I had some other problems but those were easily resolved.

Mark you comment on something being corrupted led me to my decision to re-install the program.
