Replacing SNMP Trap Content with Custom Text

We have several server rack door sensors. Every time someone opens/closes a door SolarWinds receives SNMP Traps.

We also added the "Last XX Trap Messages" resource to our HOME -> Summary Page for the operators

But we don't want to display the raw cryptic snmp traps on the operator's dashboard.

Is it possible to replace the Raw Trap content with a customized text? For instance I want to simply display 'Rack Door Opened' instead of showing the cryptic traps.

I read that this is possible through the Orion MIB DB but I have no instructions or docs.

Can anyone help please?

You need to define rules in the SNMP trapviewer on the server.

You can color the trap, or tag it with a value, or do something else with it...
