Is their any plan to take the reporting a bit further to say something like trending? For example reporting on servers that had a 25%+ increase in drive space this month or show all nodes that show a 50% increase in bandwidth the last 90 days etc.
So with 9.5 we added trending to the graphs, so you can pick a date in the future and based on historical stats we will plot the trend
That sounds awesome. How do you implement this? I tried to look for and or create a report in this fashion and could not see it.
If you choose edit chart in the drop down on an item on a node or interface details page and select custom time period and then specify a time period range, then refresh, you should see it update

Trending is a brilliant feature, very pleased with it. However, when do you expect SolarWinds to implement the ability to alert on deviations from the trend? i.e. alert to say “packetloss is expected to reach level blah blah blah in 4 weeks etc… “
This is for sure something we have on the wish list of items to do, but no timeframe I can give at this time
