Recovering SNMPV3Password or Key.

Hi,

I have to run SNMPWalk on a node added with SNMP V3 but I havent been able to find what the password is for the SNMP account as It was set by someone else. From what I have read on the Cisco side of things, I dont have any recovery options there. I am using NPM 11.5.2. Is anyone aware of how to recover/view the SNMP password on the Orion side of things ? Would really rather not have to create a new user because of having to touch every device in the company as well as all the changes that would need to be made to Orion.

The passwords are hidden even in the HTML source code, which I was very happy to see.

Yep, snmpv3 is all treated the same way they do windows passwords where they encrypt everything in the db and I've never seen a method of recovering things back out of the credentials table.
