Running NPM on SQL 2005

In the process of upgrading to SQL 2005 and was wondering if NPM will run on it?

I have been running on SQL 2k5 for about two months now. I have had a couple of issues (see Database Maintenance Thread) but cannot say that it is a 2K5 issue. Up until the last update, everything was going fine.

Support did not seem to happy that I was running 2K5 as it has not been cleared for Orion yet. So you may be on your own with issues. Though I will say they did their best to help me and we eventually got it solved.

We tried it when we first installed NPM and it did not work at all. I did not troubleshoot it much, however. We just switch to SQL 2000 and let it go.

Orion 7.8.5 runs on SQL 2005, but it requires registering a dll manually, which led to problems, causing some users to conclude that we did not support 2005.

Orion 8.0 installs and runs easily on SQL 2005.
