IP layer maps

Hi,  Is there a way to create a network map at the IP layer? That is,

if router-a (10.0.0.1) connects to router-b (10.0.0.2) through multiple

layer-2 switches, I want to see those two devices with a single line

inter-connecting them.  Since the intervening layer-2 switches are

not part of the IP layer picture, I do not want to see them.

you would use the tool "network atlas" to create all of your maps any way you want them.  just select the interfaces and nodes you want and drag them onto the map.
