SNMP & Windows 2008 R2 are not working

We have one system in our DMZ - it is a Windows 2008 R2 and we've checked & double-checked SNMP settings and firewall settings to the nTH degree and it still fails SNMP discovery.

Are there any known issues with SNMP and this OS?

hmmmm, well you may not be alone. Check the event log for any error codes:

2003 R2 = yes, just not 2008-

We don't support running on this OS, but no none issues monitoring it though

we are just trying to monitor it (Windows 2008 R2) and SNMP is not playing well.
