Hi,
we want to disable the directlink account as we do not want any unauthorized users having access to our Solarwinds instance, however, when we disable it, Network maps seemingly fail to load.
any ideas?
is it all network maps? wondering if the maps have persmissions to stop you seeing them or no permissions at all which is why the directlink account was working but noone else.
yes seemingly all network maps. how do i manage permissions on maps?
Hmm, well I dont think there are permissons to the individual maps.
Can you access network atlas ok and view all the maps? If so then it must be down to the individual views permissions.
Edit the views and see if it has any limitations.
like dodo123 mentioned, ususally Maps don't have permissions on them. The DirectLink account is not a "default" account, you have to manually/intentionally set up this user.
Maybe you intentionally/accidentally set up Permissions on the views where the Maps are located.
