I am in the process of creating a report for our Audit Team.
They are looking for the "names" of devices.
So I thought this should be easy, then I start looking at them and really thinking about what they are.
Here is my issue;
Caption
DNS - That is the only one that is clear
Display Name
Node Name
System Name
So what I would think and what I am seeing are Different. What I am looking for, is how are each of these are "made". What are the fields used, where do they come from?
