Volume monitoring problem
soap2005
Tough question,
I'm running Orion v7.7 on a Windows 2k3 server.
The server I'm trying to monitor is a Windows 2000 SP4 server.
And has 2 partitions C and D.
Both partitions are detected by Orion, but
Partition D is shown as 0bytes/0bytes without a volume name
(Just 'D:\')
The real size of partition D is 160Gb and has a volume name ROOTD
While my C partition is shown correct with size and all.
I’ve restarted the SNMP service on the server, removed the node and added the node and still no luck.
Has anyone had this problem before?
How can I make it see the correct data of the D partition?

Hello soap,
Have you attempted to use SW engineer tools mib browser or some similar tool to look at the values that your server is displaying for this volume?
This may be a problem with the SNMP service on the server rather than an issue with Orion.
BTW your OID is:
1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3
This is the hrStorageTable. If you walk it you should see all your logical storage on the server.
Be fantastic.
