We are using the Exchange 2007-2010 Hub Transport Role Service and Counters
default application monitor to monitor our Hub Transport Exchange 2010 servers.
Everything has been running perfectly for a couple weeks. Yesterday 1 of our 4
servers being monitored by that application monitor started getting a "Bad
input parameter category does not exist" error on all the queue monitors.
All the service monitors are still fine on that box and both the queue monitors
and service monitors on the other three servers which monitored by the exact
same app monitor are fine. I didn't see anything in the Windows event logs on
the problem server that would indicate that something had changed.
Any thoughts on what might have caused this?
