Hyperlink so it opens another windows

Usign 8.51 Orion. I added a weather map with a hyperlink to show the animated view. This works great but I would like to see if there is a way to tweak the hyperlink option so it will open up the results of the hyperlink to show in another window, not the same.

I tried to add the HTML command syntax to it but it did not like that.

Any ideas welcomed.

http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/index_loop.php" target="_Blank

You should be able to use something like this. The trick is to include target ="_Blank" in the "a" tag.

Thanks for the respone but when I copied that into the Edit Hyperlink and saved it didn't like it.

It seems not to like any HTML code in the link box.....

Are you trying to display the map at the weather site on your solarwinds page and make it clickable or just create a clickable link to the weather site? Also, what kind of Solarwinds resource are you trying to add this to?

I currently have the national weather in a map called weather. In that map under the image I added a hyperlink to the animated version. When the user clicks on the weather image in the weather map it opens the weather site (picture) in the current Orion IE window.

What I would like it to do is open the weather site (picture) in a NEW IE window so they just have to close that new window.

Right now when they close the weather IE window it closes their current Orion window since the link didn't open a new window....

If i could attach a screenshot I would......
