Solarwinds Errors

Hi,

I am seeing the following error in my Solarwinds...

Network Performance Monitor Startup Error

Cannot start SolarWinds Orion NPM Web Engine (OrionNPMWeb.Application).

Error Number 424
Object required

You may need to rerun the SolarWinds Configuration Wizard.
Visit http://www.solarwinds.net/netperfmon/help/admin/Security for more detailed information.

Also, our poller keeps stalling and we have to restart the server, which affects other applications.

Any ideas greatly welcome...

Hi AJ,

I've seen this in the past caused by permission issues in the registry. Try running the OrionPermissionChecker.exe tool in the \Program Files\Solarwinds\Orion folder, and see if that helps you to correct the issue.

If not, please raise a support ticket at www.solarwinds.com/support/ticket/ so that we can take a closer look.

Hi, we do not have this file.

Instead I have re-run the Web Config Wizzard to see if this solves it.
