Report Writer/Scheduler thoughts/suggestions

Is there a way to NOT have orion web page auto refresh the reports? Perhaps a feature enhancement would be to provide a setting for this. I have some large custom reports that I don't want refreshing every few minutes as that runs the query again.

Report Scheduler - is there a way to disable report schedules? Perhaps provide a way to disable report schedules, so you don't have to delete them and rebuild later.

For #1, you can do this from within the web console:

Admin --> Orion Settings

For #2, the Report Scheduler uses the native Windows Task Manager. You can set the task to disabled from within the Scheduled Tasks Control Panel. However, I'm pretty sure that Report Scheduler allows you to disable a scheduled report by either right-clicking on it and selecting Disable or by opening it and unchecking the 'Enabled' box. I don't have access to my Orion server at the moment, so I can't verify.

for #1 - are you referring to the "page refresh" section? I need the regular maps to refresh often. I don't want the reports pages to refresh automatically at all. I'm wondering if there is a setting for reports only (I changed the report cache timeout and we'll see if that helps).

Sorry, I misunderstood. I'm not aware of separate settings for refresh of reports. Maybe the report cache will do it. Good luck.
