Need a sample interval of 1 minute to 5 minutes for a report in NPM

I'm attempting to create a report that shows the peak transmit bps on a specific interface for each day of the month. Right now, I can only set the sample interval in the report to one hour. Ideally, it would be great to set this to 1 minute or 5 minutes. Is it possible to set the sample interval to less than one hour? If not, is there a better way to go about doing this?

I think that you'll need to check your Orin Polling Settings. The default setting for Detailed Statistics Retention is 7 days, after which they will be summarized into Hourly.. Then after 365 days the hourly stats will be summarized into Daily.

Just remember if you change the default polling setting it could affect the size of the Database and performance..

Good thought, but the lowest sample interval is still only for each hour even when using a report that grabs from the last 7 days or less. SolarWinds is definitely getting the data somehow, as I can create a custom chart on the interface and see minute-by-minute the peak and receive bps. If I could get this into a report and show the peak for every 24 hours, that would be the solution.

I'd likely have to set the details statistics retention to at least 30 days, like your post shows. Even then, I don't understand how SolarWinds is pulling in the data in the screenshot below as it's far outside of the 7 day detailed statistic retention period, and I only set the interface to collect statistics every 1 minute a few days ago.
