Status of Polling and Server 2008 NON R2

Anyone know what the current status is of that issue where polling might get hosed up on a 2008 non R2 box? I had issues over the weekend and I think it maybe related.

Can you elaborate, which issue?

I think OP means the lsass.exe + WMI bug with Server 2008 (non-R2) which MS might perhaps consider to be a feature.
