Alerts

Question

Hi,

I am doing a POC of Solarwinds(Orion NPM V9 SLX) NPM. I have configured a cisco 3750 switch as  node to solarwinds and Configured couple of interfaces to mintor. I am not getting the email alert  when the interface goes down. The below is the error message.

rebooting the server resolved the issue :-)

Hi,

I am able to recieve mails when I click on test alerts button to test the mail flow. But not getting mails when some interface goes down though I have selected email me when the interface goesdown option under basic alerts.

check also with your system adminsitrator if the IP of your SW server is allowed to send email relay on your SMTP server
