Hiding custom node details in web console

I'm in the process of integrating Cirrus and Orion at this time. I finally got my Config Listing working, and now my team lead wants me to figure out a way to hide that from everyone but the netserv team.

Is there a way I can specify that only people with Admin rights can view a specific Node Detail?

You could also create a different node details view for the folks you want to see the config listing resource, and change their accounts to use that view.

Create a custom property and then use the Account Limitation Builder to limit those views to the specific node.

I tried what you are trying to get me to to do Mark, but maybe I'm not making myself clear enough.

I want all users to be able to view all nodes. I only want administrators to be able to view the configs, which is a custom property. IE, Admins get to see everything, users can NOT see the "Config Listing" that I added to "Node Detail Reports".

When I go into the "Select Limitation Type", I don't see anything that will allow me to limit accounts to what I want, nor do I see anything that will allow me to create a custom limitation type.

You could use the "Allow Account to clear Events" property as a way of filtering the Cirrus configs from the Web page.
This would mean only your NetAdmins would be allowed to clear Events (checked in Account List properties) and no one else.

You could then use the same code as what is used for displaying the "Edit Custom Properties" feature on the node details page to display your Cirrus configs, similar to this;

seems like you might be missing a step here... did you add the custom porperty in the Account Limitation Builder? then you will see it in the drop-down list-(Orion-> Advanced Features-> Account Limitation Builder) start-add-> (insert name) -> select the Cust. Prop.

Once that is done then you can add the limitations to the views to on the Website via the account mgr. accordingly.

Ok, I've added the account limitation. I've used page 177 (PDF page 193) from the Orion Admin Guide as a start. I still see nowhere in there to do what I want to do.

If I add this limitation and apply it to an account, that account can do one of two things. I can view the node that has the configs or it can't. I need people to be able to see the node, just not the config. The account limitation builder only allows me to take an all or nothing approach to this. Any other ideas?
