Advanced Alert Help

I am trying to define an advanced alert on interfaces. We have created a custom property to determine the criticality of an interface, named Priority.

I'm attaching my alert definition, for some reason the alerts never trigger when the suppression is defined, my suppression is catching interfaces that are put into umanaged(for maintenance).

Any help is appreciated.

you should not use suppression...

if you have entered node=unmanage, this means it will suppress the alert for as long as any node is unmanaged...

try to build the condition into your trigger condition (trigger if node.status is not equal to Unmanaged) that should work the way you want it

remember not to use the Alert Suppression ;-)

I have also had this problem and out of curiosity if you should not use suppression why is it there? Will it be removed?
