Its a little unclear on what the difference is between POLLING INTERVALS witch is pulled every 120 sec (2 min) and POLLING STATISTICS INTERVALS witch is pulled 10-15 minutes.

If we have a Disk Volume setup to alert if the Disk usage exceeds 90% for 30 minutes, does SolarWinds use the Node Statistics Polling Intervals and pull every 10 mins (3 polling cycles) before alerting or will it try and use Volume Statistics Polling Intervals and pull every 15 mins (2 polling cycles) before alerting or will it try and use the NODE/VOLUME POLL INTERVAL and pull every 2 mins (15 polling Cycles)???
*Does the Disk polling settings also apply to Memory and CPU*
If we have a device setup to alert if the device reports down for 10 minutes, does SolarWinds use the Node Statistics Polling Intervals and pull every 10 mins (1 polling cycles) before alerting or will it try and use the NODE/VOLUME POLL INTERVAL and pull every 2 mins (5 polling Cycles)???
*Does the down node polling also apply to interface status, hardware status, and service/port status*
| Monitor | Polling intervals |
|---|
| CPU | 10 minutes (Right???) |
| DISK Volumes | 15 minutes (Right???) |
| Memory | 15 minutes (Right???) |
| Device Availability | 120 Sec (Right???) |
| Interface Availability Status | 120 Sec (Right???) |
| Hardware Availability Status (Fan, Power Supply) | 120 Sec (Right???) |
| Service and Port Availability Status | 120 sec (Right???) |
