When attempting to use Database Manager with the username and password found in the SQNetPerfMon.db file I get a "Cannot connect to SQL Server on "(local)". What am I missing?

Could you tell us a little more about your setup? Are the other Orion applications working correctly? What version/edition of SQL are you using?
Sorry, that would have been helpful. I'm running the eval of NPM with the Netflow component. Everything seems to be working properly. All components are installed on a single server. NPM installed SQL Server Compact Edition. Do I need to install SQL for management?
Orion actually installs SQL Server Express for data storage. It has a copy of SQL Server Compact Edition as well, but that's more for internal temporary storage of settings, not something end users can interpret.
Are you trying to get at your data? What's the problem you're trying to solve?
Thanks Denny. There's no current pressing need to get at the data. I was trying to get familiar with Database Manager tool and have been unsuccessful.
