Dear All,
I have a number of sites running Cisco 837 routers on xDSL circuits. My alerts are setup based on priorities. When a node stops responding I get an alert. No problem. That’s one of reasons we all have Orion, right
Now then, as you know DSL is unpredictable at the best of times and these 837 lose connectivity with regularity and our engineers get a constant stream of emails informing them that the DSL site is down and then back up again soon after.
Is there any way I can suppress these alerts so if the site is down for 5 minutes then sent the alert that the site is down.
Any suggestions.
