NPM - Node with Problems Filter

Hey Folks, Happy Friday.

So I am by no means a SQL admin so I am struggling a bit. In our Solarwinds environment we are seeing all the servers that have "Unknown Interface" status in our Nodes with Problems section. I have tied Several filters to weed those out and none have worked. Can anyone assist me with this? Basically all I want to see is Nodes that are down and nodes that have interfaces that are down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, Mr. Fleming, the correct syntax is:

Status<>0

status level for status properties are:

0 = Unknown

1 = up

2 = Down

3 = Warning

14 = Critical

Thanks for the reply. I tried that and the nodes with Unknown interfaces are still showing up. I really just want to get rid of all of them so I only see nodes that are down and nodes with interfaces that are down.

i just tested it and found The answer we're looking for:

childstatus<>0

Status<>0 OR childstatus<>0
