ADVANCED ALERTS

Question

My advanced alert is not working fine. Whenever a node status is down, it's meant to trigger an alert.

But this is not so again, instead no action is taken. This started some days ago and it's still like that.

The interesting thing is that the basic alerts are working fine.

Please can anybody tell me what the problem is?

Hey, thanks for your concern. But i restarted the Solarwinds Alerting Engine service and it has started working since then.

One more thing! Whenever i try to test an advanced alert, the action does not respond. This started a month ago.So i've been restrained to using only basic alert to do an Alert Test.

Also, my alert test log is empty.

Have You also tried testing the alert . Please test this and Check the log it generates.
