Can a Group go to Warning when a Device Interface is down??

Hi all,

we have a group which contains nodes and the group goes in to a warning state when a node goes down. However, can I get it so that the group goes in to a warning state when an interface of a node in that group goes down?

I dont want to have to create another group for interfaces as well. Or is this the only way that it can be done?

Hi Mario,

I agree with you.Group status depends on the object added to the group.So you need to have two separate groups,one for nodes and one for interfaces to meet your needs.
