Currently on a Cisco router when a primary interface is shutdown the sub interfaces of that prim reflect it as being down, not shutdown.
Is there a way to have the subinterfaces reflect the exact condition of the primary interface?

At this time I believe the simple answer is no, there is not a way to have the subs reflect the primary. Orion gets the interface status directly from the ifTable on the device and does not look at the status of other interfaces.
