So, I recently discovered that you can add UDFs to each object in Orion. Very nice feature which allows a client of mine to store information about that object in one easy-to-reference place. However, some of the data is date sensitive (ie maintenance expiry dates, etc.) Is it possible to generate a trap on these fields to alarm when, say, the date is X days away?
I'm going to set up reporting by the UDFs, but they are looking for something a little more "in your face".
Maybe I am going about this wrong. If you have any other ideas to track this information across multiple hardware platforms I'd be open to suggestions!
