Will LANServeyor be intigrated with Orion?

Hello all,

We own LANSurveyor software and we are coming up for our maintenance renewal in March. We also own Orion and other Orion Modules. Has anyone heard if LANSurveyor will be incorporated into Orion? Maybe in the form of a module or will the functionality be part of the base Orion product.We already pay maintenance on Orion (EXPENSIVE!) and I am not sure if we will renew the LANSurveyor maintenance if the product functionality will be rolled into Orion. Any info on a "forward looking" road map would be helpful... Thanks,Clint

Well, it depends on what you mean by "integrated." We are definitely planning to put some of the discovery and network topology information from LANsurveyor into Orion. But the Orion functionality won't be a superset of the LANsurveyor functionality. What is it that you'd like to see moved to Orion? Which problems are you trying to solve with LS?
