unmanage?
francismcphail
We have a router which we want to no longer manage/poll with Orion as the router has been replaced with a newer/improved router. However I want to keep the data in Orion for historical purposes.
Just wondering how other people do this, or even if in fact it's possible to do.
(The new router will be using the same ip adddress as the old.)
Cheers,
Francis.

The only way I have found, is to unmanage the old router and change it's IP to something not in use on your network. The issue with this is it adds a blue unmanaged icon for the node, and if the poller service is restarted the icon changes to unknown.
I'm hoping this will be fixed in V8.

Are the interface names the same on the old router and the new ones? If so, all you have to do is rediscover the device since it has the same IP and the old data will not be deleted.
