NPM 11.5 - Resources on Customize page missing

I have 2 instances of NPM running on two different VMs and one is working correctly. The one with the problem had the resource there but I accidentally deleted it and I can't get it back. Anyone have any suggestions?

This is for a custom poller of Arris and Cisco DSG Tunnels.

NPM - Not working

Is missing these and when I try to add them it isn't listed.

Since you mentioned these are Custom Poller resources, the word used in the search box should be for Pollers, is it not..?

Selecting Custom Poller resources does not give me the verbage above (DSG Tunnel - Arris, DSG Tunnel - Cisco., etc.

I didn't initially set this up, a co-worker from a different department did and I was wanting to try and figure it out without bothering him as he is very busy with his department.

On the working side, goto the view and hover one of the resources and find the resource ID for one of your "Missing" resources

then open database manager and query the resources table

e.g.

select *

from dbo.resources

where Resourceid='Resource id from hover'

Then look at the Resource Name for that resourceid.

That will be the name to search for.

Most likely, whoever set it up before, renamed it from the default resource name.

After reading your post I decided to try and add it as a Universal Device Poller chart. Once I had the chart on the page I could modify the chart to the name I needed with only one thing. We have Arris and Cisco Devices so now I have to check to see if the other devices have added the chart automatically.

I was not able to find the resource as you described by hovering over the resource.

When you hover the resource title, look at the URL, that will contain the resourceid.

I actually had to click on the graph/chart and have it open in another page but found the resource ID like you said in the URL.
