Cisco 1200 Wireless AP

I have installed the Wireless Management Pack with Orion and cannot see any of the stats for my access point. Orion will identify the access point but that is all. The Cisco AP is running 802.11 a/b/g antenna's. Has anyone had any luck in configuring this?

Hi mrsald,

You need to select each wireless device via the wireless networks application. In addition, any access point that is being monitored needs to have all of its wireless interfaces selected in the Orion System Manager (list resources).

NOTE: If you select list resources for a wireless access point you should see an option for Wireless Network Performance Monitoring. if you select this option the AP is setup for wireless monitoring.

Thank you for our response. I have selected all the options you mentioned and I still cannot see any stats for my access points "Wireless Network". I get a message "No Data available for that time period". Is there a issue with a Cisco 1200 AP running and IOS and having a/b/g interfaces? I am running multiple Cisco AP's all with the same issue with the Solarwinds software.

Where are you located (what country?). There was a issue with application monitor and core orion that prevented memory logging to take place due to sorting issues with Swedish sort order (I belive that was the error anyway) that I got a fix from Solarwinds.

I contacted support, It seems that the soloarwinds wireless service was unable to start. The tech had me run the configuration wizard and everything seems to be working now.
