Two Questions about Solarwinds

I just noticed that version 7.8.3 was just released. When I look at the bottom of the web pages on my install, I noticed I am running version 7.8.55. I know that I did not upgrade to 7.8.3 before installing the v8 alerting engine beta, so should I *upgrade* to version 7.8.3 or should I just stay as is.

Also, will the new alerting engine allow us to see the alerts on the web site like the old one did? That is really important to us as I am the only person who accesses the console at work.

You should definitely upgrade to v7.8.3 - I'm currently running in a test environment and it's displaying v7.8.127 at the bottom of the NPM webpage.

As of right now the beta alert engine does not integrate into the NPM webpage so you will not see the alerts. Hopefully this will be done with Orion release 8.
