We're trying to have a rule that doesn't send the alert email until the node has been in a down status for 5 minutes or more.
We're on Orion 8.1 with all the hotfixes applied.
The rule setup is simple enough:
As is the reset:
To Supress the alert, we set this up in the escalation tab;
But still no joy - what it does is send the alert 5 minutes later, and the reset 5 minutes later
i.e,
12:00:00 - Node goes down
12:00:30 - Node comes back up
12:05:00 - Sends Alert email
12:05:00 - Send Reset email
Thoughts? Clues? Insults??????????
