Orion 8.5 and 8.5.1 Web display Problem in Chinese Windows env

 I'm used Orion from v6.0 to v8.1 in Chinese Windows System. And the Web interface can always correct show Chinese Strings. But when upgrade to v8.5, the web can't display Chinese String. Use db tools to see content in database, the chinese content is correct, And when  I change the view name with Chinese Name  from web interface, the Chinese string  can display,  but in database, the content is not correct.

When I upgrade to v8.5.1, the problem is changed!  Change view name with Chinese name from Web interface is no effect. It can't display Chinese String at all!

I see the html encode is changed from GB2312 to UTF-8 for v8.5, Where is the problem?

Orion 8.5 use asp.net in some place and asp in other place.

Some page is former written in asp, and is called in asp.net page.

Orion Web default is UTF-8, and it is correct for asp.net as /web.config globalization is auto.

But in asp, things are different.

So ASP page should set itself as UTF-8 output, which is not done even in v8.5.1_SP3.

You may modify this file[/NetPerfMon/Scripts/NetPerfMon.asp], set the head content as this:

 <%@LANGUAGE=&quot;VBSCRIPT" CODEPAGE="65001"%><%
    Option Explicit    
    Response.CharSet = "utf-8"
    Dim NetPerfMon

 And add one line to function DoStyleSheets in this file:

Response.Write "<meta http-equiv=""Content-Type"" content=""text/html; charset=utf-8"" />" & vbcrlf

 Then both .asp and asp.net can see non-English characters correctly.
