hi everyone, i have NPM installed in our environment. I have added all the access points/controllers but i can't find a way to add client counts to associated AP. can someone help me with this. Really urgent.
What the version NPM?
I think you nesse to create UNDP for to havethis results.
Hi,
The version is 11.5.2 eval. And i can see a universal device poller application. Can you please tell how do i use it. We are using frogfoot networks and i have added all wifi AP's under frogfoot networks.
I'm still on NPM 11.0.1, so not sure if this is going to work for the version you are running.
There's a resource you can add to the wireless controller page called "List of Thin Access Points" that should display the count of clients associated to each AP, the AP's names, their active channels and IP address. If you wanted the client counts graphed, that'd be a different story though. For that, you'll more than likely require a UnDP.
see here please

Hi dhanson,
Can you please tell me the name of the resource for adding "list of thin clients" and how do i include that in the NPM.
Hey Gaurav,
This is the default name for the resource, so it should be immediately available. Just in case you aren't familiar with adding resources to a node page:
When viewing the Node Details page for your wireless controller, select "Customize Page" in the upper right corner below the banner. Select the "+" sign next to the column you'd like to add the resource to, and you should see a similar screen as below. Search for "Thin", it should come up.
As a side note:
On the List of Thin Access Points resource, the thin AP's are selectable, and can provide additional details regarding the clients associated to the particular AP, including the SSID the client is connected to, the time they connected, their data tx/rx totals, and limited client history.
Hope this helps!
