Hi all, I've added around 300 nodes to our system (about to be massively expanded in the New Year following a successful extended evaluation of the product). Now, these devices were added by a mixture of manually adding, network discovery by IP range and lists of hostnames/IP addresses. All my devices are part in the 'lboro.ac.uk' domain but many of them have wound up in Orion NPM with that domain name truncated (we tend to use very long, descriptive, hostnames for many of our devices). As all my devices are in the same domain I'd like to be able to strip off everything following and including a dot ('.') in the hostname for all my devices.
Any SQL gurus out there know how I could go about doing this?
