We have cellular (as in COSTLY per hour) interfaces on each router that we do want to monitor. We have a special dashboard for these that are up for monitoring telecom providers as they fix our primary transports.
The issue is, on the main dashboard, each "green light" for each router device, has the blinky red light in the corner indicating there is an interface down on the device. The red lights really don't provide the best information to the "suits", as they like plain old green lights. They sleep better when they see nothing but green lights. 
Has anyone had a similar circumstance on their network?
