NPM 9.5 - Syslog messages per second handling

I tried to scour the board to find this but figured it be easier to post this. Can anyone tell me the maxium number of syslog messages the built-in syslog server can handle per second? Is Kiwi better or worse in terms of this number compared to NPM 9.5?

Based on our internal performance testing, Orion NPM's built-in Syslog log server can handle more messages per second than Kiwi Syslog Server. However, this is under ideal conditions and does not take into account the load already being placed on SQL server by other Orion polling and data collection operations.

So, the key advantage of using Kiwi Syslog Server in combination with Orion NPM is that you can deploy it on a separate server without any database hit and forward only the critical Syslogs to Orion NPM.

If you deploy a separate Kiwi server does Orion integrate so that when u click on Syslog in NPM is puts the logs from Kiwi? Or is it basically a separate system you access directly?

It is a separate system, however you could put a menu nav option to the Kiwi web console within NPM so you have direct access within the Orion web console
