Email alert not sending the "down" notification, only the "up" notification

Why are my email alerts for a down interface not sending but the email alerts come out when the device is back up? I have the "up" notification triggered for when the "down" condition is no longer true.

I am having the same issue. My alerts have worked correctly for a couple of years now with no problems. It seems to have started when I upgraded to NPM 10.5
