Alert sent when name changes

I looked everywhere and cont find the alert notification that is sending when a name changes on a node. Our soon to be replaced system is having DB issues and for some reason Orion is seeing names being changed, from current name to current name and sending alerts. I need to disable the name change alerts since we are getting 1AM alerts and ticking people off.

You can run a SQL query on the AlertDefinitions and AlertLog tables. Change the YourDeviceName to a device that you have been alerted on as changing. If you have the word "change" in the e-mail message, it should show you the alert name.  You can change the word "change" to something unique in that alert name. As a rule of thumb, I always end each e-mail alert with:

Orion Alert Name:

${AlertName}

so I can always track it back.  This variable won't work with SysLog alerts, but hopefully one day they will be tied in with the Advanced Alerting engine.
