Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
I get a window askin me whic polling engine to use
bripage
I installed Orion on another server in my network to test out the Database back and restore features. After I was finished I uninstalled Orion and then deleted the sql database that I had used to do the back/restore testing. Now, when I go on the original Orion server and load the Orion Network Performance monitor... I recieve a window that ask me which polling engine Id like to connect to. What I want to know is how do I make sure that I dont get this window anymore. Basically, what do I need to do in order to make sure that it no longer thinks the other server is still al polling engine?

Run the Polling Engine Load Balancer app & remove any references to the test server:

I had this problem when migrating from my test server to my prod server.... the management tool allowed me tool delete the extra polling engine and then it just reappeared next time around.. was very upsetting.... this was the fix i used in the end
