how to change node grouping in MapMaker

Question

Is there any way to utilize the custom grouping properties in the MapMaker node list?

Mine are currently being grouped by Vendor for some reason, and I would like to be able to use some geographic grouping properties so it will be easier to find nodes in a long list and place them in the correct state on a USA map I am building.

The current answer is:  No; this is not possible even in 9.0 SP2, but it is being considered.
