SQL SA bad password error log

I have a SQL server problem.

The sql server is filling up logs with a SA bad password for the NPM server. I have rerun the NPM config wizard and had the SA account set and still the server is getting attempts at a login with faulty SA credentials. 10 errors per second. This is causing the applications, polling engine and sql server to loose connection, thus loosing database data until a reboot of the NPM server.

Is there somewhere else other than the NPM config wizard to address this problem?

Running orion slx V10 on a windows server 2008

SQL is also on a 2008 server.

Both virtual on a blade server.

Do you by chance have APM in your environment as well?  If so, are you running any component monitors against your SQL server?

Cant say whats the problem from here.Could you please open a support ticket to fix this issue?And also post back the ticket# along with the solution.
